QPR and Academia – a Technology and Social Media partnership

QPR and Academia – a Technology and Social Media partnership

Partnerships are built on strong foundations – when two experts of their industry join forces it is for the greater good of all connected. Think Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates and Paul Allen, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard – all created global success stories in cooperation with each other.

So how do we follow Apple, Microsoft and HP, brands who are already successful vendor partners at Academia? Well, we join the world of sport and create a new one with our friends at Queen Park Ranger’s football club.

We are delighted to continue our agreement to be the official Technology and Social Media partner for QPR, the EFL Championship club with a strong heritage and local community support. Our partnership is based on supporting the club with its technology needs, its social awareness and the great work with local charities and community programs.

By creating this partnership, we are helping advance the technology education to a growing audience in west London, as well as connecting to the wider world fan base that QPR achieves via its extended support.

We are also expanding our expertise in social media – helping showcase how technology is shaping the way we use social channels to converse and share content. Our relationship with QPR will help reach a new audience and whilst educating the finer points of what to post and what to ignore online!

Finally, this partnership will celebrate our commitment to working within the business of sport – taking our world class technology services and transforming the way customers, consumers and the honest fan will embrace the digital era.
