17 Apr Academia and Microsoft – A nominated partnership
Academia is delighted to share the news that the hard-working marketing support team in the group have been nominated for an award as part of the Microsoft Surface Go launch campaign last year.
Nominated by our peers at the CRN, the full list of those on the shortlist for the Sales & Marketing awards can be viewed here.
The nomination comes on the back of the successful partnership with Microsoft that was created in 2018 and delivered our supporting pages that can be viewed here.
By working with Microsoft, Academia was able to provide the Surface Go family of devices to the education market in the UK, helping profile the laptop, tablet and desktop solution to a whole new audience via a variety of our marketing channels. This included a new direct shopping store for immediate purchases here, a series of podcasts featuring Steve Beswick and Tom Able-Green here and a fantastic video case study feature the staff and pupils of Sparsholt College.
The CRN Sales & Marketing Awards was created to help recognise and reward the achievements of those individuals and teams that are responsible for making the UK IT channel truly great. Part of the Incisive Media Group, the CRN is the leading publisher for the computer reseller industry, supporting vendors and partners like Academia in delivering the latest news and insight into the technology landscape in the UK.
